Sadie’s Birth Certificate

This is Sadie’s Birth certificate. This was taken our first day together… If you look at her passport picture, she was not very happy. Brings back memories of our first few hours together and little Sadie wondering what the hay is going on. This was one of her ”I got Troubles days” – actually it was the first… Jeff, another new father in the group with twins made a smart comment to me – he said, “Man, look in the mirror. If I saw you I would scream my head off too. Consider yourself lucky it only took a few days…” True new friend. Wayne has really been helping them out – the received twins and are new parents…

It's all beginning to look very official! The boys (me too) are counting the days. I told them there was a possibility that if your flight was late getting into LA that you may not get here until Saturday. Just wanted to forewarn them in the case that it happens to avoid a meltdown! Hope your new location and your final days are good. Sawyer checked the weather for there the rest of the week. Looks like you will leave there in 70 degree temps. It's warming up here too by midweek.

WOO HOO!! It's getting pretty official!! Little Sadie is one step closer to becoming a US Citizen!!! Thanks for sharing all of this with us, Rob & Heid!! I do have to say, Rob, that it is MUCH MORE INTERESTING TO SEE PICTURES OF SADIE AND CHINA THAN APPLIANCES IN WALMART!!!!! HELLO! What were you smoking?? Something you found in the back of that farm house?!!!!! Oh, and I did want to let you know, that we've decided to have a special "CHINESE FIRE DRILL SALE" this weekend in honor of Sadie's return. All the prices are in Chinese and we're giving away the store!!! And, don't worry about us while you're gone - only one store has burnt down, only 10 salespeople have left, Steven's quit and Brian and I are enjoying our time with our families by the pool in Arizona while you've been gone.....no worries!!!!!!!!

WOW! My computer froze at home yesterday, so had to wait until today to avoid work and hang out on your site. You have been prolific with the pictures and it's awesome! This time on my little laptop has certainly become the high point of my day. Congrats on your next step in the process! Love you guys. Jenne

p.s. Sondra, thanks for the tip about enlarging the pictures I didn't know about that feature.

It is so much fun to get online and see what's happening with you all and being able to join in, on everything that is going on with you all! Thank you for this wonderful experience and you all are doing such a great job with all this!

I hope you'll be over this bug that bit you real soon--considering you'll be on a long plane trip in just a coupla' days. It's obvious this baby has already taken you for family, and will probably have no recollection of any parents other than you. I was having lunch in the Pizza Hut the other day when in came this little Chinese girl--cute as a button and exuding personality all over the place. She started talking to me right away. I asked her mother how old she was--it was obvious she was older than her size and behavior suggested. Mama said she is 25 months old. I thought this could be our little Sadie--tiny and full of personality. I could see her in this little moppet in a year or so. They look so alike according to the pictures. Soon you will be home. Stay in touch, so that I know when to head for LAX. Rather than going to the Chinese Airlines terminal, I plan to go directly to the United terminal. I thought that made more sense.
Love, Auntie
