Lets meet some of the other families…
Right to left on the picture around the table – Jeff and Angela Perkins from Nevada, Darryl and Susan from Hawaii, Craig & Cynthia are from Des Moines IA and Morgan our fearless leader. The picture of the two with the twins are Jeff and Angela from Nevada – Wayne has kind of adopted them and has helped them out through the trip - - - they call him “Grandpa Wayne…” The husband and wife with their new little blessing are Kelli and Dean Barber from Fort Collins CO. The Family with the very cutie little girl are Terry, Carole, & Isabelle the Gregan’s form Highlands Ranch CO – just down the way from us in Denver. I can truly say that this was a very special group of people. We all really helped each other out when someone needed something and we just road the wave – did what ever we needed to as a group. I will always have a special place in my heart for all the families on this trip. To think how they not only blessed their family and lives but how they have blessed the little soul they now call there daughter or in one case – daughters as in two… it is a true blessing from God, to God and by God… Thank you all for sharing in our blessing and adventure…

I am sorry it has taken me so long to figure out how to send a comment. I had to email your mom and she told me how to do it (I could swear the comment choice was not on my computer before). :) Anyway, how wonderful everything seems to be going for you guys!!! Sadie looks so adorable & cute! I told your mom it was hard not to cry looking at you finally being able to hold her and realize your dream coming true. I wish I could be there to hold her, too! I can't believe the difference in her each time I look at the website - she seems to have gone from being very shy & fearful & unhappy to a blossoming, cheery, gleeful little girl. What a difference you've made in her life already....you can just see it from the pictures! What a wonderful website - it's so great to see what your trip has been like - everything you described is so like our trip to Russia - so hard to describe what an adventure it all is and the wonder of life and God at work - you can't put it into words. We will be so anxious to see you and meet Sadie (and of course see the boys again)! Have a wonderful and safe rest of your trip and homecoming. What a Christmas it will be at the Pehkonen household this year!!
Love, Erin
I was so glad to see that Erin was able to get on for a comment. Your experience is very close to her heart, having gone through a similar adoption herself! Enjoyed seeing some of the other members of your group. Did anyone else set up a blog? If not, all their freinds and family are missing out on the adventure of a lifetime! We are so fortunate to have shared in all of this with you. We're counting the hours.
Love, Mom
